What you get
There is no price on this page. What there is instead is a straight account of what differs between renting calls from us, buying shared leads, and hiring someone to build you a website.
How the three arrangements differ
| Renting from us | Shared-lead service | Hiring an agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who else gets the same call | Nobody | Several businesses | Nobody |
| Who owns the website | We do | They do | You do |
| Who pays to build and rank it | We do | They do | You do |
| What you pay before it works | Nothing | Per lead, from the start | A monthly fee, from the start |
| Exclusive to your trade and town | Yes, while you rent it | No | Not applicable |
| Contract or notice period | None | Varies | Usually both |
| What you keep if you leave | Nothing | Nothing | The website |
| Who answers the phone | You do | You do | You do |
| Your details sold onward | Never | Sometimes | No |
Two rows are deliberately unflattering to us. You never own the site, and you keep nothing if you leave. If owning the asset matters more to you than avoiding the cost of it, hiring someone to build you one is the better choice and we would tell you so.
How paying works, in the order it happens
We start where you carry no risk and move only when there is a reason to.
Step one
To start with, free
You take the calls a site is already producing and decide whether they are real work. Nothing changes hands. This is not a trial in the sense of a countdown — it runs until you have seen enough to judge it.
Step two
Then a share of what you win
Once you are confident the calls convert, we would rather take a share of jobs you actually land than a flat fee. If the calls stop being any good, our income stops with them, which is the incentive pointed the right way round.
Step three
Later, a flat monthly rent, if you want it
Once there is a track record between us, a predictable monthly figure is easier for both sides to plan around than a variable share. We will not start here, because starting here would mean asking you to pay for a volume neither of us has seen yet.
What exclusive does and does not mean
While you rent a site, nobody else gets its calls, and we will not rent the same trade in the same town to anyone else. That is the whole of it, and the boundary matters.
It does not mean we are absent from the trades next door. If you do drainage work, we may build for waterproofing in the same town. If you are a family lawyer, we may build for estate planning. Those are different sites, different searches, and they may go to a business you consider a competitor.
We say this before you agree to anything rather than after, because you would reasonably assume the wider version, and finding out later is the kind of surprise that ends an arrangement that was otherwise working.
See if we can help
This form is not switched on yet.
Its spam check is still being set up, and until that is finished anything sent here would be rejected rather than reaching us. We would rather tell you than take your answers and lose them.
Nothing else on this site depends on it — how this works and what differs between the arrangements are both worth reading while you are here, and the form will be working shortly.
